It does show the midriff somewhat, as shown in the photos. She has to wear a t-shirt underneath for school, otherwise this is perfect for her style and comfort.

Looks great on, great to throw on before or after your workout. I got it in white and when I washed it the logo on the arms and shoulders faded.
