My review may be different as I was hunting for head bands to do double duty. We are Jeepers, so wind and a cute hair style...don’t mix. I needed something to help keep my hair out of my face when traveling but still looks good and stays put while we are hiking and chasing our dogs. These are the only bands that work perfectly! Tighter bands give me terrible headaches, not fun when your trying to have fun. Even if I double up bands, no headaches! They stay firmly in place during the windy drives and I love the grip feature. In windy conditions you’d think I’d have breakage but I have zero problems! Same while hiking and chasing our dogs, playing fetch or even kayaking!! No pulling, no headaches and they look darn good! I’m actually sully buying more colors now! I have the teal mix but want some basic greys/blacks too. Highly recommended!

They work as long as you don't do too much moving and then they slide some

I really didn't like these at all. I am very active - I workout every morning, & I didn't like the grippers on one side as those break my hair. They didn't stay put in the least bit, and I kept having to adjust it. They kept sliding off and are basically worthless if you are actually doing something active. If you just want them for style, then you might be okay.
